About zsrelay¶

What is zsrelay all about?¶

zsrelay is an attempt to extend and tightly integrate
the existing srelay SOCKS proxy
for the iPhone.

What did you change then?¶

• First of all: zsrelay is GPL, Tomo.M.
  the original author gave permission to relicense his code
• We're integrated into Preferences.app
  (Basically all settings are just a switch away)
• We support status bar icons to keep you in track with
  your current connection status
• We have integrated "Insomnia" support
  (Your network connections will stay alive even with your phone locked)

What's to come?¶

Future versions of zsrelay (current git master) will
support a Bundle based plugin mechanism which will allow for user
extended preferences or even altering the behavior of zsrelay itself.
In addition to this we're working to bring the full SOCKS5 feature set
to zsrelay (srelay ist missing some parts).

How can I help?¶

There are many ways you can help:

• support zsrelay: There is a support button in preferences.app ;)
• apply as a tester: We're always happy to extend our beta tester list!
  Just drop us a short mail stating why you would like to test for us
• contribute: If you have fixed a bug or implemented some cool feature
  zsrelay is happily accepting (and crediting) additions to it's code base.

They will take you through the steps of configuring you mac for adhoc
and tethering with zsrelay.
